Sloane McFarland
Sloane is the principal of Martha + Mary. He is a 4th generation Phoenician and currently resides in Phoenix with his wife and two daughters. He attended Brophy College Preparatory and then St. John's College in Santa Fe. Sloane discovered a desire to "make things" when he was 15. He first began working with words, which lead to film which lead to video which lead to installation. Sloane exhibited PHACAEANS at the Arizona State Art Museum and Child of God at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. Leveraging a family background in real estate, he began larger scale land, operations and expression works.

Mike Hassett
Mike is the Manager of Business and Real Estate Development for Martha + Mary. Previous to his involvement with M+M he was the Director of Development for DMB Associates, a Phoenix based real estate development company specializing in master planned communities. Mike is a native of Phoenix, having previously attended both Brophy College Preparatory and Arizona State University. He is a member of the Phoenix Thunderbirds, serves on the St. Francis Xavier Building Committee, and serves as Commissioner for the St. Francis Xavier Athletic Association, a ministry of the Parish that provides recreational sporting opportunities to over 1500 youths. Mike currently resides in Phoenix with his wife and three children.

Adam Bartlett
Adam is the Sharing Coordinator for Martha + Mary. He was born and raised in Michigan, and has been a musician since age seven. He moved to Arizona in 2002 to attend the School of Music at Arizona State University. He concluded his musical studies in 2006 and joined the M+M team in 2007. As Sharing Coordinator, Adam focuses on interfacing with the community at large, telling the M+M story. Sharing tends to take a variety of forms--among them are media/web development and communication with current and future relationships. Adam resides in Phoenix with his wife and daughter.

Nicholas Velasquez
Nick is the Operations Assistant for Martha + Mary. He is a native Arizonan and currently resides in Phoenix, AZ. He attended Cortez High School in Phoenix and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Urban Planning and Public Administration. Nick is involved in many projects involving high school youth from Sts. Simon and Jude Cathedral in Phoenix where he attended grade school. Bi-yearly he helps lead a group of teens to Mexico to build homes for families with inadequate housing. Nick has had a passion for serving others and the community since the age of 13.

Reuben
Reuben is the managing cook of the Welcome Diner, the food and hospitality branch of Martha + Mary. Aside from his cooking abilities he is a musician, sculptor and a gardener. He comes to M+M from his previous employment with LGO Hospitality. Reuben is also is involved in the M+M urban farming/composting program which currently resides at Old Southern, a M+M property. He grew up in upstate New York and has lived in Phoenix for most of his adult life.
